Opening event of Air Liquide SWARM hydrogen filling station

Air Liquide opens hydrogen filling station in Frechen (Cologne area)

On 21 Sept 2018, Air Liquide inaugurated a new hydrogen (H2) refuelling station in Frechen, close to Cologne, Germany, and therewith achieved another important milestone in the establishment of a nationwide hydrogen infrastructure.

This hydrogen filling station was built as part of the SWARM project. The station is another puzzle element in the 'hydrogen highway' potentially leading from Norway to Italy on one side, and Scotland on the other side, as supported through the SWARM project activities.

Air Liquide also demonstrate their involvement in the German H2 Mobility consortium, building a first hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in Germany.
